Orson Farming Guide

Everything you need to understand the farming world, economy and systems of Orson — written for farmers, not developers.

Introduction

Orson is a browser-based farming MMO. You cultivate your own land, grow crops, gather hay and grass, complete farming quests, trade harvests with other players, and explore a shared farming world from one persistent character.

Your inventory, $ORS balance, crops, and friends list travel with you across the world. Visit different farming regions to unlock new seeds, better tools, and bigger harvests.

Account & Identity

Sign in with your wallet. Your wallet address is your account — there is no separate email or password login. You need at least 1 $ORS in your connected wallet to play.

What saves automatically

  • Display name, inventory, tools, and storage barn
  • $ORS balance, farming skills, and tutorial progress
  • Daily farming quests and placed structures
  • Friends list, cosmetics, and profile badge

Stay safe

The game only asks your wallet to sign a login message. Never enter your seed phrase in a popup unless you intentionally started a purchase you understand.

Your First Session

New farmers spawn at the village square with no tools and a small starter plot. The tutorial NPC walks you through claiming your first field, planting your first seeds, and harvesting your first crop.

Recommended first steps

  • Follow the tutorial to claim your starter plot and receive basic tools.
  • Visit the village well to refill your watering can.
  • Plant your first seeds and wait for the harvest timer.
  • Open the Marketplace to see what other farmers are selling.

Farming Regions

Orson is split into separate farming regions. Each region has its own climate, soil quality, and available crops. Farmers in different regions can still trade with each other through the global marketplace.

Region overview

  • Village Square — central hub with storage barn, marketplace, and beginner plots.
  • Golden Fields — vast open plains with high-yield wheat and hay.
  • Meadowlands — lush grasslands perfect for grazing and grass gathering.
  • Orchard Grove — fruit trees and berry bushes for premium harvests.
  • Market Plaza — trade hub where farmers list crops and resources for $ORS.

Core Gameplay Loop

Farm smart. Earn smart. Most sessions follow: plant → water → harvest → sell or store → reinvest in better seeds and bigger plots for larger rewards.

Loop steps

  • Gather seeds, water your crops, and tend your fields daily.
  • Harvest mature crops and gather hay, grass, and plants.
  • Sell surplus at the Marketplace or store it in your barn.
  • Reinvest earnings into premium seeds, larger plots, and better tools.

Economy, $ORS & Trading

Open the Marketplace from the HUD anywhere. List crops and resources for $ORS, or buy what you need from other farmers. When someone buys with $ORS, the seller gets 95% and 5% goes to the game treasury. You need at least 1 $ORS in your wallet to play.

Remember

Never paste your seed phrase into random popups. The game only needs a normal wallet sign-in unless you start a purchase you chose yourself.
